TrendAI Becomes Part of Anthropic’s Project Glasswing

The collaboration will enhance efforts to detect and address software vulnerabilities through advanced AI capabilities.

TrendAI, the enterprise AI security leader of Trend Micro, has announced its participation in Project Glasswing, an initiative aimed at helping organizations detect and remediate vulnerabilities in critical software systems.

Through this collaboration, TrendAI will leverage Anthropic’s Claude Mythos Preview to support software code review and analysis. This capability enables threat intelligence researchers to accelerate vulnerability discovery and translate findings into coordinated disclosure, prioritized remediation, and measurable risk reduction through vulnerability shielding and virtual patching.

As artificial intelligence continues to accelerate the pace of vulnerability discovery, TrendAI views this development as a positive shift for the cybersecurity industry. It reflects a broader collaborative ecosystem that TrendAI has actively supported for decades in partnership with organizations such as Anthropic.

Rachel Jin, Chief Platform and Business Officer, Head of TrendAI: “We’re aligned with Anthropic’s goals of using AI to make all software more secure. Organizations increasingly depend on software that operates at tremendous scale and supports critical business functions. Project Glasswing represents an important opportunity to explore how advanced AI can help software providers identify vulnerabilities earlier and improve the security and resilience of the systems customers depend on every day.

TrendAI joins a growing community of organizations participating in Project Glasswing to explore how frontier and advanced AI models can enhance defensive security efforts and strengthen the protection of critical software infrastructure.

Insights generated through this initiative will help inform broader industry efforts to improve the security and resilience of the digital ecosystem.
