Securitydive.in: AI, regulations and digital resilience are evolving rapidly. How will business and technology leaders alter their investment, innovation, and threat mitigation strategies in 2025?
Dipesh Kaura : Organizations are investing in AI capabilities, advanced data science, threat research, and innovations in cloud architectures. They are also focusing on a seamless customer experience to ensure customers remain one step ahead of emergency threats. With AI poised as an integral part of cyber threats, organizations have shifted their investments following this trend, with a focus on AI-based defenses against cyberattacks. The demand for AI-based solutions and services is expected to increase over the next few years.
Cybersecurity talent is increasingly becoming important than before, and organizations are hiring skilled professionals to combat AI-driven attacks. Many will invest in upskilling the existing security team members. Innovation, such as AI-powered threat detection and behavior analytics, is potentially transforming the cybersecurity landscape.
AI is already revolutionizing SOCs. This, along with greater collaboration through shared threat intelligence and the need to meet regulatory compliance, will further drive innovation across the domain.
Platforms like Securonix are well-positioned to lead this shift by embedding Agentic AI into our SIEM and SOAR frameworks, enhancing alert prioritization, enabling faster response, and scalable threat mitigation.
Securitydive.in: How does Securonix plan to scale its efforts by harnessing AI’s capabilities so businesses can identify, predict, and neutralize security breaches with unprecedented efficiency?
Dipesh Kaura : Securonix, Inc.is transforming SecOps with Agentic AI through intelligent agents that evolve with feedback, act with intent, and scale human capability in real time. It’s explainable, adaptable, and built to keep pace with the speed of modern threats. It is designed to accelerate threat detection, investigation, and response by 10x and brings speed, precision, and clarity to every function of SecOps.
Securonix modular AI agents work together as a coordinated AI mesh across the organization’s environment to accelerate detection, ensure consistent decisions, and eliminate the need for manual triage. Our AI models go beyond external threats to help in detecting insider threats with behavior analytics.
By leveraging psycholinguistics and behavior analytics, our platform identifies risky behavior intent before it escalates into a breach, enabling proactive defense against insider risk. Securonix Agentic AI, built with autonomous response capabilities, can contain threats, enforce policy, and orchestrate workflows across the organization’s environment without manual intervention, while ensuring human oversight. Our AI platform openly integrates with the existing security stack (SOAR, EDR, IAM, and cloud tools) of the organizations, ensuring AI works across the customer’s business environment. Built on Snowflake and AWS, Securonix provides elastic performance at scale.
AI insights are delivered instantly across massive data volumes without impacting performance. With Agentic AI at the core, we help businesses detect, predict, and respond faster to security breaches.
Securitydive.in: What are your perspectives on the Indian market, and how do you plan to expand the reach of Securonix?
Dipesh Kaura : With the rapidly expanding threat landscape, there is an increasing need for scalable, cloud-native security. Indian enterprises are looking to replace their legacy SIEM platforms with AI-powered ones for rapid and smarter threat detection and response. Enterprises in India have to address the demands for early threat detection, compliance with stringent regulatory requirements, and the need for efficient scalability.
Our channel strategy in India reflects the diversity that the country presents across the north, south, west, and east regions. We are not just onboarding hundreds of partners indiscriminately. For a solution as specialized as ours, we require partners who truly understand the technology involved, in addition to a fair understanding of their local markets. What gives us confidence is our technology legacy with advanced capabilities baked into our DNA for over a decade. This technological edge enables us to be selective with whom we partner while expanding our presence through channel partners to serve the increasingly growing end customers.
Last year, we partnered with RAH Infotech, India’s fast-growing value-added distributor. This year, we partnered with LA Technologies as the preferred Managed Security Services Provider. These alliances help us build resilient, intelligent, and scalable cybersecurity ecosystems across the country.
Securitydive.in: AI plays a pivotal role in incident response by automating critical steps. In the event of a security breach, what are your views as a cybersecurity leader?
Dipesh Kaura : Securonix’s InvestigateRX is an innovative feature leveraging AI to transform raw data into actionable insights, significantly accelerating incident response times. It intelligently extracts key information from diverse data sources, generating concise and context-aware summaries.
This AI-driven summarization eliminates the need for analysts to spend hours sifting through irrelevant data. InvestigateRX can identify critical details and present them in a clear and easily digestible format after understanding the nuances of security data. Automating the summarization process reduces average investigating time by 15 minutes per incident, and is very significant, particularly when dealing with a high volume of incidents.
InvestigateRX also facilitates seamless collaboration within the investigation team by providing a platform to share information and insights where team members can stay informed and work together efficiently. By implementing InvestigateRX, security teams can benefit from faster incident response, improved efficiency, enhanced analyst productivity, and better decision-making.
Securitydive.in: The future of AI in cybersecurity is promising, with advancements expected in several areas. In what ways does Securonix plan to assist partners and MSSPs?
Dipesh Kaura : Securonix has made significant investments in partner programs, enabling our partners to deliver best-in-class threat coverage at scale. Our open, collaborative ecosystem is built to empower MSSPs, resellers, and technology allies to grow stronger together and deliver unmatched value to joint customers.
Our partners are empowered with joint business planning and sales forecasting tools and several marketing and sales resources, along with accredited training and certification programs. We provide hands-on workshops and even simulate real-world deployment scenarios and troubleshooting exercises. MSSPs are key for our go-to-market model, and the Securonix platform is purpose-built for MSSPs with multi-talent architecture, role-based access controls, and automated workflows. We work with our MSSPs as strategic allies. This includes co-creating white-labelled services, sharing technical roadmaps, and supporting their go-to-market efforts.
Securitydive.in: Cybersecurity remains an evergreen industry teeming with talent, and penetration testing continues to be one of the most valuable fields within it. What areas of training are essential today?
Dipesh Kaura : Penetration testing takes a proactive, offensive approach to cybersecurity by launching simulated attacks on an organization’s existing IT systems to identify vulnerabilities that real attackers could exploit.
Penetration testing skills, such as network and application security, and a knowledge of programming languages such as Python, JAVA, PowerShell, BASH, Golang, and Perl are key. Understanding of threat modelling, penetration management platforms, cloud architecture, and remote access technologies, among others, is required.
Penetration testers should become familiar with popular penetration testing and application security tools such as Wireshark, Kali Linux, Kaduu, Aircrack-ng, Nessus, Qualys, and others. Certification in penetration testing, like the Certified Ethical Hacker and Certified Penetration Tester, proves to be useful. The CompTIA Security+ certification demonstrates that a professional possesses the essential foundational skills to thrive in the cybersecurity field.
