Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) recently launched a trio of digital platforms designed specifically for India, a renewed push to support the country’s ambition for AI-led growth, digital sovereignty, and cybersecurity resilience.
The new offerings include TCS SovereignSecure Cloud, TCS DigiBOLT and TCS Cyber Defense Suite. Launched at the company’s “Accelerating India” event in New Delhi, attended by key public and private sector stakeholders. TCS said the platforms were “sovereign by design, secure by default, and sustainable for the future,” aligning with India’s regulatory and strategic priorities.
Girish Ramachandran, President of Growth Markets at TCS, said India is at a critical juncture where data sovereignty and AI adoption are intersecting to create major growth opportunities. The company’s new solutions, he added, are engineered to support national interests while driving innovation and economic competitiveness.
The SovereignSecure Cloud, according to TCS, is an AI-integrated platform fully managed and hosted within India using TCS-owned infrastructure in Mumbai and Hyderabad. It is intended for use by government bodies and regulated industries, with an architecture tailored to meet compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act of 2023. The cloud is built on a Zero Trust framework and is designed to support net-zero carbon goals by 2030.
Complementing the cloud platform is DigiBOLT, a low-code solution that enables organisations to streamline digital transformation by integrating AI into legacy systems.
Built using open-source technologies, it allows businesses to develop and scale digital applications faster, reducing IT complexity and speeding up innovation cycles.
TCS also launched its Cyber Defense Suite in India, offering AI-driven threat detection and response capabilities. The service provides enterprises with insights into cybersecurity risk and compliance while delivering protection across hybrid cloud, IT, and operational technology environments.
TCS said the suite draws on two decades of cybersecurity expertise and a global team of over 16,000 specialists.
The latest offerings, TCS said, are part of a broader strategy to deliver indigenous technology solutions that meet India’s unique needs while being scalable for global use.
